Span Arts is delighted to announce that The Festival Players Theatre Company returns to the enchanting setting of Lampeter House, to celebrate the 10th year of ‘Outdoor Shakespeare’.
For this special occasion, The Festival Players will be performing Much Ado About Nothing, a delicious comedy, popular for over 400 years, about misunderstandings, love and deception.
The Festival Players Theatre Company, whose patron is now Dame Judi Dench, bring one of Shakespeare’s most revered comedies to life, combining elements of full-bodied hilarity with more serious thoughts on honour, shame and court politics.
This year, the show will take place on August 23 at 7 pm, with the garden opening at 6 pm. Refreshments will be available from our bar and a selection of food will also available alongside tea and coffee.
Lampeter House, located in the village of Lampeter Velfry, just outside Narberth, provides the perfect setting for outdoor Shakespeare with a small amphitheatre-style theatre built into the beautiful grounds of this lovely estate.
As this is outdoor theatre the audience is encouraged to be prepared for any weathers, as the show will go on, rain or shine. Chairs will be provided, though you might want to bring your own along.
Tickets are now available and can be purchased at the Span Arts Box Office or online – https://span-arts.ticketsolve.com/shows/873604260
