A new mooring system is being implemented in Tenby Harbour similar to the grid systems employed at Saundersfoot and Fishguard. About 40 per cent of the chains strewn across the harbour at Tenby are redundant and these are being removed in order to reduce confusion over moorings. Some of the chains and anchors are believed to be around 50-years-old.
