In the aftermath of their highly successful ‘Pembrokeshire County Run’ in this its 21st anniversary year, motoring enthusiasts Jeff and Sian Edwards from Milford Haven will be staging the last of their Pembrokeshire County Motoring Events for their 2018 season on Saturday, October 6 in conjunction with the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre.
The ‘South Pembrokeshire Coastal Run 2018’ will both start and finish at the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre (SA72 6WS) and follow a route of about 40 miles via Pembroke Dock, Pembroke, Lamphey, Freshwater East, Stackpole, Castlemartin, Freshwater West (of Robin Hood, Their Finest and Harry Potter/Shell Cottage filming fame), Angle then onto West Angle Bay for a short well earned break, where both toilets and the Wavecrest Café will be available.
The motoring tour will then continue on its last leg via the Speculation Inn, Maidenwells by pass, St Daniels Hill and Pembroke,
The vehicles/motorbikes will then make their way back to the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre from Pembroke via Bush Hill, High St, Bethany Corner and Pembroke St.
All enteries will assemble at the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre from 9 am onwards ready for their departure at 11.30 am, and arrive back from 1.30 pm onwards (once parked by the marshalls, please report to Sian in the foyer of the Centre to register and collect routes etc.)
This event is open to vintage, classic, post classic, sport, kit and specialised motor vehicles/ motorbikes and entry is free - which will include entry to the very interesting Heritage Centre.
Fast food and the cosy tea rooms will also be available. Entries will be accepted up to and on the day.
