Do you play an instrument? If so, the Preseli Orchestra would be delighted to hear from you. The orchestra meets on Monday evenings at Prendergast School from 7-9 pm and is always keen to welcome new members.

The orchestra gives regular concerts and this term's programme includes works by Mozart, Bizet and Mendelssohn.

The aim of the orchestra is to give local musicians the chance to enjoy orchestral playing in a relaxed atmosphere. Since its launch some eight years ago, the orchestra has gone from strength to strength and now numbers some 30 members drawn from all over Pembrokeshire and beyond.

The orchestra will be giving two concerts in November. The first is on November 2, and is being held at the Bishop Petit Memorial Hall at the Catholic Church in Cardigan. The concert is in support of CAFOD and begins at 8 pm. The second concert is on November 30, and is being held at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Fishguard, commencing at 7.30 pm.
