The new art exhibition at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, 'Here and There with Julian Brown' was opened on Saturday by Professor Roger Breakwell MBE, former Pro-Rector of the University of Arts. Julian Brown was born in Swansea and has had an interest in art from an early age. After studying painting at Swansea School of Art, he lectured on art for over 20 years, before retiring as principal lecturer in 1986. His retirement allowed him to pursue a full-time career in painting. His subject matter is diverse, ranging from architecture, through machinery to marine objects and landscapes.
The exhibition runs until November 20 and there will be the opportunity to talk to Julian on the 'Meet the Artist' Day on Wednesday, November 2, from 2 to 4.30 pm. The museum is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm (last admissions 4.30 pm), so there is plenty of opportunity to see the work of this talented Welsh artist.
