Pembrokeshire County Council-run markets in Pembrokeshire are to continue operating, although with essential producers trading only.

The confirmation comes following the Welsh Government’s announcement on the weekend that Wales is now in alert level four.

The outdoor Haverfordwest Farmers Market will still go ahead as planned on Wednesday, December 23 for collections of pre-ordered items and fresh produce.

At Fishguard Market, regular traders will be in attendance with the exception of one who has had to finish because of the restrictions. The last market of this year is on Christmas Eve and the first market of the New Year will be Thursday, January 7.

At Tenby Market, the pet shop, butchers, Little Pantry and takeaway continue to operate but the other businesses have had to close.

The Christmas trading dates are Christmas Eve, 29th, 30th, and 31st December and 2nd January.
