Tenby Cancer Research UK shop in High Street is holding an open day to highlight the valuable and much appreciated work of volunteers and give people an opportunity to see how the shop is run and hopefully volunteer to help out for a few hours a week themselves.
"Since our recent refurbishment, the shop's popularity and trade has increased and as the busy season approaches, we are in need of extra volunteers to join our friendly team," said the shop's manager, Clare Davidson.
"If you think you could spare a few hours a week, morning or afternoon, then please do come along and see how the shop is run, meet other volunteers and see if it's something that you might enjoy.
"We are also in desperate need of saleable goods such as clothing, books, bric-a-brac, videos and DVD's, records and children's items, so if you're heading our way, all donations will be greatly appreciated," she added.
The open day is being held tomorrow (Saturday) from 11 am to 3 pm. Refreshments and cake will be provided between 12 noon and 2 pm.
