As part of the Tenby Arts Festival, the St. Johns open art exhibition will begin on Monday, September 13, until Saturday, September 25, in St. Johns Church Hall, Warren Street, Tenby (opposite the Post office). The exhibition will be open daily 10 am until 5 pm (except Sunday morning). A percentage of all sales and a hanging fee goes to make up the donation to charities. Last year, over £1,200 was raised and given to Cancer Research Campaign and St. Johns Church funds. It is hoped that over 200 paintings will be on display and for sale by both professional and amateur artists. During the second week of the exhibition and in Arts Festival week, the Tenby and District Camera Club will also be showing their latest interesting photographs alongside the paintings and crafts. Admission to the open art exhibition at St. Johns is free and it is hoped that many people will enjoy the show of work by many local talented people.
