Today (Friday) sees the start of a one-week-only charity shop in the St. Govan's Centre, Pembroke Dock. Throughout the coming week the shop will be open from 10 am until 4 pm, when a very large selection of quality goods will be sold to raise money for 'Sohail's vehicle fund.'
Sohail and his team are based in Pakistan and provide essential help for people who are falsely accused, imprisoned, kidnapped or impoverished, usually as a direct consequence of their Christian faith. Their need for a suitable vehicle has met with a generous response in the county, and there are high hopes that the shop will bring the total funds close to the target of £10,000.
Every penny taken in the shop will go directly to the charity, which is endorsed by Release International, Registered Charity No. 280577.
Jackie Rodda's CD of modern worship songs, 'Adonai! Master of my Hope' will also be available, priced £10, all of which will go straight to the vehicle fund.
