The funeral cortege for one of Tenby’s longstanding landlords will pass by the public house that he was a familiar face at for so many years on Friday (October 1).

Eighty-one-year-old Keith May who ran the Three Mariners for many years on St George’s Street passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on September 17.

Keith, following a long-distinguished career in the Royal Air Force, became a very well-known figure in Tenby and across Pembrokeshire through his business interests and sporting attributes.

The funeral cortege will leave the family home at approx 1.30 pm and will head down Narberth Road, into the High Street, past The Three Mariners, Upper Frog Street, then onto the Parade, The Esplanade then down Park Road prior to the funeral service at Parc Gwyn Crematorium in Narberth, at 2.30 pm.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing Covid Pandemic it will only be family members inside the Crematorium Chapel, but all are welcome to attend.

Keith will be sadly missed by his sisters Anita and Marjorie; children Brinsley, Jonathan, Mike, Leila, Lucy, Lydia and partners; grandchildren Matthew, James, Anna, Benjiro, Jake, Cai, Harleigh, Rory; and many other friends and family members.
