Pupils of Years 1 and 2 of Tenby Infants' School excelled themselves on Friday evening in a fashion extravaganza.

Organised by the PTA, a Kate Moss of the future could well hail from Tenby.

They modelled clothes from Peacocks, Stewarts, Clarice and Georgina's Bridal Shop and walked the catwalk like professionals, clearly enjoying the occasion and warm support from the audience. The event was ably compered by parent governor, Melanie Rogers.

Modelling for Stewarts were Lydia Crockford, Safara Halpin-Jones, Imogen Childs, Karli Connor, Megan Willing, Niamh Taylor, Millie Durham, Gwyneth Hodgson, Owen Rogers, Charlie Jackson, Gareth Davie, Alex Brace, Toby Poole, Alfie Poole, George Amos.

Modelling for Peacoks were Bridgette John, Ella Griffiths, Isabella Williams, Ella Joyce, Nicola Tully, Lottie Dessent, Katie Thomas, Chloe Beynon, Millie Vickery, Thomas Murphy, Elliot King, Joshua Brown, Jack Broadhurst, Caie Elms and Nathan Rees, Modelling for Clarice's were Jack Mills, Harvey Vaughan, Ben James, Stephen Ward, Anya Coates, Kiera Glasscoe, Georgina Dabbs and Carys Slack. The flower girls were Ella, Evie and Isobel Williams. The organisers would like to thank Colin Sharpe, of Famous £1 shops, for jewellry; Tesco and Luke Lawrence, of FBM, Pembroke, for refreshments; Heidi Griffiths for arranging the flowers; Cath from Make it Pretty; Friday's Child for toys; Arlene and Richie Westmacott for the background music; and Sarah Davies from Andrew Price for hairstyling. The evening was primarily a fund-raising event for the Gareth Scotcher Fund.

It was the first time the school had organised such an event and, judging by the hard work and willingness of all involved and the tremendous support received, it certainly won't be the last. Paris, London, Tenby... watch out in the future.

There were many raffle prizes and the arrangements of flowers were expertly auctioned by Rev. Michael John at the end of the evening. The headteacher and staff would like to thank everyone for their wonderful support. A lovely night was had by all.
