Pembrokeshire In Rhyme - Poems, Thoughts and Photographs Inspired by Pembrokeshire’ - is the second book from Marie Moreton, this time, inspired by her love of the county.

It speaks of some of the beautiful and historical places in Pembrokeshire where she regularly visits and takes photographs.

The book starts with a poetic introduction where she declares her love of Pembrokeshire.

It continues with her poems, thoughts and photographs about Amroth Beach, Angle Beach, Bosherton Lakes, Broad Haven, Caldey Island, Carew, St. Govan’s Chapel, Pembroke Castle, Pembroke Dock, Skomer Island, Strumble Head Light House and Tenby.

All of this together reveals to the reader the beauty and wonders Marie has seen, the adventures she has experienced and the mysteries, history and legends that she has found.

For example, in her poem about Amroth, Marie reveals the mystery of an ancient sunken forest; and in her poem about St. Govan’s chapel she speaks of legends, miracles, divine deliverance and of something special that happened to her in the chapel.

Then in her poem about Skomer Island she speaks about her adventure on the island and about it’s beauty and wonders of creation.

The book, featuring one of Marie’s photos of Skomer Island as its cover, includes 40 pages, with space to write your own thoughts if you wish to.

It is published by Grosvenor House Publishers, and priced at £12.99, can be bought/ordered from Tenby Book Shop, many other book shops and online.
