Writing under her maiden name, ‘Sharon Collier’, a local author has just completed a new novel, ‘The Eighth Day’, which is available now.
Sharon lives on the Pembrokeshire coast and has recently found more time to return to writing, which was her first love.
She writes many genres, from fantasy to stories of village life in rural England.
Earlier this year, she produced the book ‘The Dying River’ - a fantasy novel - and put it onto Kindle/Tablet.
Her new novel ‘The Eighth Day’, also an e-book available on Kindle or Tablet, is set in 1998, in another genre:
‘When Dunchester Priory, the Diocesan authorities, the Town Council, the Bottling Company and Medway Water Company find their interests collide, the scene is set for an explosive resolution. A creative solution to the problem of how to pay for the town’s water leads to Dunchester threatening to declare independence from the rest of the country’.
