Former Olympic athletic and Welsh rugby international Nigel Walker will be addressing a conference in Haverfordwest next week.

Now Head of BBC Wales Sport, Mr. Walker will give a keynote address to governors, headteachers and teachers of Pembrokeshire schools.

The theme of the conference at 6 pm in County Hall on Tuesday, May 21, is achieving Success and Team Building.

It is designed to provide an insight into opportunities in sport and equality issues so that governors and teachers are aware of how sport aids in the all-round development of the individual.

Mr. Walker was part of the British Olympic team at the Los Angeles Games of 1984. He also won 17 Welsh caps as a rugby wing.
