Following the successful open gardens event in June, a games evening is being held tomorrow (Saturday) from 7 pm in East Williamston Community Hall.

Games include hoopla, shove ha'penny, to name a couple. Entry is £2 each for which you get a scorecard. On it are eight games at which you can score points. The highest score - adult and child - will win a prize.

Other games will be set-up on tables for those who want time out and catch up with their friends. Hot dogs and beefburgers will be on sale, as well as tea and coffee. The bar will be open and, of course, there will be a raffle. It should be a fun evening.

Thanks, meanwhile, go to the people who opened their gardens in June - Ken and Jean; Vic and Sheila; Jennie and Doug; Bob and Ruth; Kathy and Mike; Jean and Ken and lastly Simon and Ellen. Everyone had a lovely afternoon, with just one shower, when everyone descended on the hall for a Victorian tea.

On Sunday, September 29, at 10 am, at St. Elidyr's Church, the harvest festival will be held, followed by coffee and Welsh cakes.
