Thousands of ultra low emission vehicles registered in Pembrokeshire – as campaigners group call for more equal access across UKHaving previously spoken with officers of the community association about their endeavours and studied plans to bring a multi-purpose hall to the parish, Mr. Thompson congratulated the association on its enterprise and enthusiasm. He added that he was delighted that his own organisation was able to put something back into worthy causes.
Association chairman, Mr. Peter Cooper, thanked Mr. Thompson and Texaco for their generous encouragement and promised that they would keep the international company up-to-date with Jameston's work.
Mr. Cooper also thanked local cabinet maker, Mr. Gary Willars, of Meadow Road, Jameston, for the construction, free of charge, of a new notice board, awaiting now only the sign-writing. He expressed his gratitude, too, for the support of the Swan Lake Inn.
