The wedding took place on Friday, at Lamphey Court Hotel, of Edward Dashfield and Emily Kirby.

The groom, an offshore surveyor, is the son of Mark and Julia Dashfield, of New Hedges, while the bride, a lab technician, is the youngest daughter of John and Anna Kirby, of Enfield, North London.

Walked down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory silk dress with her grandmother's pearls and a new gift of a pearl bracelet from the groom.

Bridesmaids Vicky Isted (sister) and Rhiannon Dashfield (groom's sister) wore teal taffeta strapless dresses in an individual style.

Best man was Rhys Thomas (long term friend), while the usher was Jon Lewis (another long term friend).

A wedding breakfast for close family and friends was held at the Lamphey Court Hotel before the wedding, then a reception at Heywood Mount Hotel, Tenby, the following day for extended family and friends.

The couple, who are both regular sailors with Tenby Sailing Club, are honeymooning in Brittany and will be making their home in Tenby.
