Tenby Infants Playgroup was officially opened last Thursday by Canon David Jenkins, with school governors and invited guests also in attendance. The Tenby Infants Playgroup Sessions (TIPS) are run at the school by leader Mrs. Ginny Amos (NNEB) and assistant Mrs. Tracey Sayers (NVQ L3). The playgroup is well supported by the parents of the school, with six pupils in the morning session and 12 in the afternoon. All children must be three years of age to attend, with the cost at £3.50 per session. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Anne Wakefield, Mr. Ronnie Bryant and Mr. Brian Maddocks, who have supported this initiative from the LEA, and the PPA for all their help. Absent at the opening ceremony was governor, Lt. Cmdr. Tom Peake and everyone at the school wishes him a speedy recovery.
