WELL-known Kilgetty couple Audrey and Peter Thomas were delighted this week to receive an invitation to a summer garden party with HM The Queen at Buckingham Palace. Affectionately known as 'Mr. and Mrs. Christmas', the couple have recently retired after raising an amazing £67,240 for charity by decking out their home, 1 St. Mary's Place, in all its festive glory over the last seven years, although their home has been decorated for 25 years. "It is a wonderful honour," said Audrey, who is now looking forward to buying a new hat for the occasion! "We don't know who nominated us, but it is absolutely fantastic and to go to that trouble for us is wonderful," she added.
