Two pupils at Pentlepoir CP School had an early Christmas present last week thanks to the Tenby Observer.

Nine-year-old Jordan Scammell and Sophia Karpaty, aged six, were presented with book tokens after winning our 150th birthday poster competition.

Jordan and Sophia are seen here receiving their prizes from competition judge, Inspector Les Clark, of Tenby police station, who had a very difficult job in choosing the winners.

Jordan and Sophia's eye-catching birthday greetings, along with those submitted by their school friends, are now on display at our offices in Warren Street.

The winning entries will now go forward to the grand final, when the overall winner will win £100 for their school.
