It was a case of lights, camera, action for our staff earlier this week as a TV crew from Wales This Week visited our offices.
In a programme to be shown on Monday, ITV Wales reporter Lynn Courtney investigates what makes some local newspapers a success, while others face closure because of declining circulations, loss of advertising revenue and increased competition from digital media.
As part of the programme, Lynn visited the Observer to interview our owner, Sir Ray Tindle, about how he originally saved the paper from the administrator at the 11th hour and turned it round into the popular publication it is today.
Sir Ray Tindle is one of the few independent newspapers owners left in the UK.
He explains how he has managed to remain successful while other companies are battling for survival.
Wales This Week is on ITV1 Wales on Monday at 8 pm.
