The death occurred peacefully at the James Cook University Hospital on August 1, of Mr. David Benjamin Mathias, father of James and Charles Mathias, N. Yorks, son of the late Vincent and June Mathias, of Westfields, Martletwy, and brother of Joyce, Lyn and Jonathan.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 14., at Kirkleatham Memorial Crematorium, Yearby, N Yorks, TS11 8HH, at 2 pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers for the James Cook University Hospital and Injured Jockeys Fund.

A memorial service will take place at Martletwy Baptist Chapel at a later date.
