Tenby
The death occurred peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, at Glangwili Hospital, of Mrs. Betty Westmacott, of Tenby.
Betty was a native of Nottingham. After the war, she joined the WRVS and whilst in Germany, she met and married husband Dick Westmacott. They moved to Tenby in the late 1950s, where they resided in Queen’s Parade.
Betty worked part-time for Joan and Billy Kingdom at their shop in Trafalgar Square, for many years. She was also a tireless collector for Animal Rescue and could often be seen in Tudor Square with Dick and one of their dogs, raising funds.
As a dog lover, Betty was a familiar face to Tenby’s many dog owners.
She is survived by husband, Dick, children Richard and Rosemary, their spouses Arleen and Dennis, grandchildren Kristian and Elizabeth, also her brother Christopher and his family.
The funeral took place on Tuesday, April 26, at St. Mary’s Church, Tenby, followed by cremation at Parc Gwyn, Narberth.

Llandissilio
The death occurred peacefully on Saturday, May 14, at Ridgeway Care Home, Llawhaden, of Mr. John Charles Hiles. He was aged 79.
John will be sadly missed by his wife Claire, daughters Jane, Carol, Anne, Susan and Katie
John’s favourite hobby/pastime was all types of fishing and he was a past member of Saundersfoot Sea Angling Club.

As reported last week, the death occurred suddenly on Friday, May 6, of Mrs. Barbara Iris Shaw Preedy, affectionately known as Paddy, aged 70 years, of Narberth, formerly of Laugharne.
Barbara will be sadly missed by her son Peter, sister Hilary and extended family, also neighbours and many friends.

It is with deep reget that we report the death of Mr. John Henry Noel Griffiths (affectionately known as Whippet), of Knowling Mead, Tenby.
Aged 79, he passed away peacefully at Glangwili Hospital, on Tuesday, after suffering a short illness.
As well as his wife Iris, he is survived by daughter Mandy, Robert, grandchildren Lloyd, Robyn and Aurora and sister Delsia. He was predeceased by his son Nigel 13 years ago.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday, May 31, when a service at St. Mary’s Church, Tenby, at 10.30 am, will be followed by cremation at Parc Gwyn, Narberth, at 11.30 am. Black attire not necessary.

The death occurred peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, at Tenby Cottage Ward, Park House Court, of Mr. Ivan William Sambrook. He was aged 92 and lived in Millfields Close, Pentlepoir.
Ivan was predeceased by his wife Mary and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Neyland
The death occurred peacefully at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, on Tuesday, May 10, of Mr. Dennis John Stolliday, affectionately known as Den, of Lawrenny Street, Neyland, aged 75 years.
Den will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Dennis worked for 21 years at Pembroke Power Station. After taking early retirement, he took up a position at Oakwood Leisure Park which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Dennis was also involved with a lot of social activities throughout the county. He regularly took part in the Pembrokeshire Classic Car Rally and loved his sport, following county rugby and cricket, and also played bowls for Pembroke Dock Bowling Club.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 25, at St. Clements Church, Neyland, at 1.45 pm, followed by cremation at Parc Gwyn, Narberth, at 3.15 pm.

Mr. Douglas George Morris, aged 68 years, formerly of Saundersfoot, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 14, at the Heartlands Hospital, surrounded by his wife and three children.
Affectionately known as Doug, he was the beloved husband of Gill, dearly-loved dad to Ian, Hayley and Ben, a special grandad to his seven grandchildren.
Doug will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
The funeral service will take place at The Bridge Church, Headless Cross, on Tuesday, June 7, at 1 pm, followed by committal at Redditch Crematorium.
