JAMESTON

The death occurred peacefully at his home of Mr. Ronald Edgar Pembroke, of Meadow Road, Jameston. He was aged 78.

The funeral will take place at Manorbier Church on Monday, June 1, at 2.45 pm.

There are to be family flowers, but donations in lieu for Macmillan Nurses or Paul Sartori Foundation may be sent to John Roberts, Funeral Directors, 51 Bush Street, Pembroke Dock.

NARBERTH

Selwyn Jones, of Garfield Gardens, Narberth, died on March 29 at Withybush Hospital. He was 74.

A native of Llawhaden, his working life started when he took a building apprenticeship with T. Adams and Son. He spent all his working life as a building contractor. He was in partnership with Wyndham Rowlands for a number of years.

After retiring from building 10 years ago, he continued to advise his three sons who followed in his footsteps.

He did National Service for the RAF from 1956 to 1958 when he was a chef.

His interests included being a member of Narberth RAOB and Narberth RFC for a number of years. He had an interest in rugby and cricket and enjoyed fishing.

Family left to mourn and principal mourners are Lena (wife), Jenny (daughter), Ralph, Clive, Keith, Kevin and Delme (sons), John (son-in-law), Dena and Eleri (daughters-in-law), 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Gareth (brother), Heather and Brian, Bronwen, Brenda and Mike (sisters and brothers-in-law), Mike (brother-in-law), Beryl and Peter, Ethel and Brenig, Florence and Len (sisters and brothers-in-law), Wyn and Kathy (brother-in-law and partner), plus nephews and neices too numerous to mention.

He was predeceased by his sister Pearl.

The service was held at Parc Gwyn and was conducted by the Rev. Elwyn John.

The bearers were Robert, Jonathan and Adrian Jones, Phillip Jones, Andrew Lupton (grandsons) and family friend Richard Morris.

There were family flowers only, with donations in lieu to Diabetes and Autism (cheques payable to Donation Account please). These may be sent to Ken Davies and Sons, Clynderwen, who carried out the funeral arrangements.

NARBERTH

The death occurred peacefully on Sunday at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, of Mr. Richard Chappell, of Spring Gardens, Narberth. He was 52.

He is survived by his wife Claire and daughter Catherine.

The funeral service will take place on Monday, at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, at 3.15 pm.

TENBY

The death occurred at his home on Thursday, May 21, of Mr. Idris John Williams, of Guyscliffe, South Cliffe Street, Tenby. He was 65.

He is survived by his wife Linda, son Christopher and his partner Clair, son Mike and his wife Angela, mother Queenie, grandchildren Isobel, Ella, Evie, Molly and Bethany, brothers Kenny and John, sisters-in-law Arlene and Melanie, and nephews and nieces Paula, Jeff, Robert and Lisa.

The funeral service takes place today (Friday) at St. Mary's Church, Tenby, at 11 am, followed by cremation at Parc Gwyn, Narberth, at 12.15 pm.
