Following a 21-month investigation into the sudden death of 16-year-old Hayley Liane Williams, which occurred on April 15, 2004, at the 'Hydro Ride' located at Oakwood Leisure, Canaston Bridge, Narberth, the Crown Prosecution Service have advised Dyfed-Powys Police that there will be no criminal prosecutions in relation to the incident. The next of kin have been informed of this decision as well as appropriate parties within the police investigation. The matter will now be subject of an inquest to be held under the care of HM Coroner for Pembrokeshire, Mr. Michael Howells. This inquest will take place at the earliest opportunity as and when a court venue becomes available. The Health and Safety Executive are continuing their investigations.
