Two nurses have raised over £80 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal by making felt poppies. Local district nurse Sandra Wilson and her daughter Joanne, who works at Glangwili Hospital, collected £82. “It’s the first time I have ever done anything like this,” said Sandra. “I made one for myself and people kept complimenting me on it and asking where I got it, so Joanne and I started to make them. We were thrilled at how much we raised.” Sandra is seen presenting the money to Chris Morris, chairman of Tenby Royal British Legion.
