A notorious junction in Narberth is under the spotlight.
Following a site meeting with Narberth Town Council, Pembrokeshire County Council is currently examining road safety at the junction of High Street with Spring Gardens and Northfield Road.
In particular, the council is looking at improving pedestrian crossing facilities at this location.
The type of facility is to be finalised and will be subject to further consultation, but will be determined by current site constraints and in accordance with design guidance.
An application for funding through the Road Safety Grant initiative has been submitted to the Welsh Government. If the bid is successful, it will enable delivery of the scheme in 2015/16.
