Last Saturday saw the third all age Notes for Notes Charity Concert.

The evening, which took place at Hebron Baptist Church, Saundersfoot, featured pupils of Helen Standing performing a variety of musical genres.

On piano were Lauren Wright playing 'Jogalong', Liam Watkins performing 'The Pink Panther' and Nigel Clark with Burgmuller's 'La Candeur' and another selection from Christopher Norton's 'Microjazz'.

Hattie D'Ortez and Molly Lewis played a variety of classical violin solos, including Hokk's 'Minuet' and Corette's 'Fanfare'.

Disney film numbers 'Go the distance' (Hercules) and 'A whole new world' (Aladdin) were sung by Lydia Rooke and Lauren Wright, respectively.

Drum kit players for the evening were Jack Blackledge, Angelo Fecci, Muz Phillips and Elliott Randall.

Guitar and drum duets included Greenday's 'Warning', performed by Freddie and Jake Phillips, later followed by Liam and Jordan Watkins' version of 'I believe in a thing called love' by The Darkness.

Stalls and games run by Hebron preceded the concert, with the following winners receiving their prizes at the end of the evening: Lydia Rooke (guess the number of sweets), Elliott Randall (roll-a-ball) and Heidi D'Ortez (guess the weight of the cake).

The total raised from the ticket sales and stalls was over £100 for the Children's Ward at Withybush Hospital.
