A chance to do something for Lent and help distressed children in the world continues in Tenby this week.
St. Johns Church is the latest to provide a frugal Lent lunch on Wednesday (March 11) in aid of Christian Aid.
Sue Bonser, the charity's Tenby treasurer, said: 'Supporting these lunches running through the 40 days of Lent is an enjoyable way to send money to places where it's really needed. The lunches are a great social occasion where everyone enjoys a good chat."
The frugal lunch at St. Johns - just soup, a roll and tea or coffee - begins at noon and there's a suggested donation of £2.50 or more per person.
The Salvation Army serves the following Lent lunch in Tenby on March 18.
Others are at St. Mary's (March 25), the Salvation Army (April 1) and St. Johns (April 8).
