No objections were raised by Tenby Town Council this week to plans to renovate the old Picton House and Cobra House in Upper Frog Street.

In fact, Clr. Mickey Folland welcomed the plans.

The application, which came before the council on Tuesday night for recommendation to the National Park Authority, was to renovate the front of the two buildings, including the shops, and to convert the rear of Cobra House into two studio flats, and the back of Picton House into three flats.

Clr Folland said of the applicant, Mr. Farrow: "If he has the means to make these plans work, then good luck to him."

No objections were raised either to the following applications:

Mrs. Gaskell, 2a Ivy Cottage, Cresswell Street, Tenby -replace window on her property with a wall.

Canon David Jenkins, St. Mary's Church, Tenby - extension to the church hall in order to erect toilet facilities for the disabled.

Mr. P. Watkins, Durban, Broadwell Hayes, Tenby - build single storey kitchen extension.
