Local councillors have offered no objections to an application for a new premises licence for a restaurant and bar to be situated at the former Feccis Ice Cream Parlour on Tenby’s St George Street.

Plans to transform the ice cream parlour into an eatery and bar to be called ‘On George’s’ were given the thumbs up by members of Tenby Town Council in 2018, with their recommendations passed to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority for consideration.

The licensing application submitted by Doug Waters is seeking - a new premises licence for plays (between 1000 hrs to 2400hrs); live music (1400hrs to 2400 hrs); recorded music (1000 hrs to 0030 hrs); late night refreshment (2300 hrs to 2400hrs); and the sale of alcohol on and off the premises (1000 hrs to 2400 hrs); with the opening hours to be from 0800 hrs to 0030 hrs.

At Tuesday night’s meeting, councillors offered no objections to the application, which will go before Pembrokeshire County Council’s licensing committee to be determined.
