Your readers may have noticed that there will be no election for Tenby Town Council due to the fact that an insufficient number of candidates put their names forward for re-election and no new candidates have been forthcoming. Regrettably this includes ourselves as current councillors. This leaves four vacancies on the town council which will need to be filled by co-option or a future election.

The purpose of this letter is to thank the public for their support during our time on the council. It has been an honour to represent their views and the town of Tenby. We hope that others who care about the future of Tenby will step forward and try to bring fresh ideas to the council.
