Unfortunately, despite a recent appeal in the both the Tenby Observer and the Tenby Times, only one elderly gentleman came forward, willing to assist to help reform a cricket club in the town. In view of this disappointing response, the Tenby and District Athletic Association has abandoned plans to reform Tenby Cricket Club. Secretary, Mr. Gareth Evans, said that while the association were very grateful to the gentleman who had come forward, unfortunately, many more would be needed to run a club, and in view of the lack of volunteers, the plans would have to be abandoned.
