At a special meeting of Saundersfoot Community Council, members decided to levy a precept of £38,500 for the year 2007/2008, the same as last year.

Members once again decided to fund the New Year's Eve fireworks (£2,000) and allocate £3,500 for donations to various organisations. Other projects to be carried out during 2007/2008 include extra Christmas lighting (£1,000), work in the Sensory Gardens (£2,500), extending St. Issell's cemetery (£2,000) and CCTV maintenance charge (£1,750).

Following a Health and Safety directive, all headstones have to be checked for safety in all cemeteries and the council put aside £10,000 to cover these costs and this would be funded from increased fees for burials and from the council's reserves.
