NFU Cymru members in Pembrokeshire are invited to a virtual county meeting to hear from guest speakers, NFU Cymru Policy Adviser, Dafydd Jarrett and NFU Cymru Livestock Board Chairman, Wyn Evans.

The meeting, which will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams, will take place on Thursday, December 3, at 7.30 pm.

Both guest speakers will give members an update on current issues within the Welsh beef and sheep sectors.

They will also outline NFU Cymru’s lobbying work on behalf of Welsh livestock farmers, including the impact of Covid-19 on the red meat sector in Wales and how the union is engaging with retailers.

They will also provide an update on Brexit and provide the latest information as we head towards the end of the EU transition period at the end of the year.

NFU Cymru Pembrokeshire County Chairman, Clare Morgan said: “I’d like to thank Dafydd and Wyn for agreeing to join us for our county meeting, I am sure it will be an informative evening with plenty of discussion following the speakers.

“All members in Pembrokeshire will receive meeting joining instructions via email but if you have any queries please contact the NFU Cymru office on 01982 554200. I look forward to seeing you virtually soon.”
