Last week, Greenhill's elite cross country runners competed in the Dyfed Schools Cross Country Championships at Dinefwr Park, Llandeilo. The runners all qualified for the race by coming in the top eight finishers in the Pembrokeshire Schools event two weeks earlier.

There were some outstanding performances, with Hazel, Matthew, Anna, Louisa and Lori qualifying for the Dyfed team to compete in the forthcoming Welsh Championships in Brecon on February 25.

Well done to all runners and their excellent performances on such a tough course in the depths of winter, dai iawn!

Youth Speaks

Greenhill enjoyed success in the Pembrokeshire round of the Rotary Club Youth Speaks competition at the Plas Hyfryd, Narberth. Molly Lewis, Eve Kidney and Hannah Muskett spoke persuasively about the importance of beauty and knowledge, debating which of these is the most relevant in society today. They convinced the judges with an excellent performance and were chosen to represent Pembrokeshire at the Welsh final in Crickhowell in March. Well done girls!
