MY SWIMMING TRIP
On Wednesday, January 20, we all got on the minibus and headed to Fishguard (writes Phillip Evans).
Mr. Oliver drove the minibus and it took us about an hour to get there. When we arrived, we went into the changing room and changed into our swim things and went out to the poolside.
There were loads of other schools at the meet.
The first race was Cameron and Alisha; they came 1st and 4th. I was in the next race, a float race, and I came 2nd, in the fourth race Alisha and I came 2nd and 3rd.
Ceri, Lucy, Daniel and Josh entered other races, gaining a few more wins. Then we went to have lunch before the final photo and medal ceremony.
Thank you to the Friends of Greenhill for providing funds to allow the trip to go ahead.
Team: Ben Andrews, Alisha Bevan, Ella Harley, Lucy Marklew, Cameron Wilson, Phillip Evans, Admam Smith, Daniel Bridle, Joshua Phillips, Ceri Davies and Matthew Davies.
