NEW INTAKE EVENING

Monday, June 22, was the annual visit from Year 6 students from the junior feeder schools. This proved a popular night and the up-coming students were very eager and looking forward to September. Departments reported a busy and exciting evening, with lots of positive questions around their displays. Today, we host them on their Transition Day - a chance to be in their form groups and take part in a few lessons.

At the recent 'New Intake Evening' for Year 6 pupils visiting Ysgol Greenhill School, the following pupils were successful in the Welsh Dept competitions: Pwy ydy Pwy? - Harry Whitehurst and Theo M. Somers (Ysgol Saundersfoot); Beth sydd yn y bocs? - Lucy Arthur (Ysgol Stepaside); Crysau Rygbi Cymru - Tomos (Ysgol Lamphey). Llongyfarchiadau I bawb.

HEADMASTER RETIREMENT

As you may already know, at the end of this term, Mr. Chris Noble retires from Greenhill School after 15 years. The school has been asked by some parents if they would do a collection for him so that he may have a parting and lasting gift of Greenhill School.

Friends of Greenhill have kindly agreed to co-ordinate this collection and students past and present or parents may make a donation. There will be collection boxes at both the school reception and the Tourist Information Office (opposite Sainsburys). Thank you.
