Well done Ashley
Well done to Ashley Bonser, of Year 11, who recently won his first Welsh Rugby League Cap against England.
Ashley was nominated through school to attend trails and he fully embraced the opportunity by being selected in the squad.
Ashley has worked hard since his selection and has been fully supported by his family as his training has been at Pontypridd and Bridgend.
Ashley now plays regularly for the Super League team, The Celtic Crusaders in their Under 16 team and we hope he continues to develop to reach his potential.

The information they have received has been invaluable to their project. They are appealing to local businesses for their views and would like to let them know that they can have a free disabled access audit if they contact Alan Hunt at [email protected]">[email protected].
IRISH
DANCING
Shannon Robins, of Year 8, recently took part in the Irish Open Dancing competition, which took place in Dublin. She had qualified for this at the Welsh Regionals last November in Port Talbot as a member of the Seren School of Irish Dance.
There were dancers from as far away as New Zealand and America taking part.
Shannon took part in the Ullmachan Under 13 Level and was placed a very respectable eighth from 54 dancers. This was quite an achievement as the standard of dancing was exceptionally high.
