The Thursday before half-term (October 23), Greenhill held an Open Evening. Despite the atrocious weather conditions, everyone was pleasantly surprised at how many visitors came to see what the school has to offer. A big thank you to the marshals, braving the torrential rain and wind on car park duty - Ethan Law, Ben Kitson, Rob Mayhew and Dave Morgan.
All departments produced displays and exhibits to show off their knowledge and skills to give visitors an overview of what our students can achieve. The atmosphere on the night was very positive - visitors toured the school taking part in activities and hands-on exhibits, some of which are pictured.
The orchestra had an open rehearsal in the main hall, followed by a talk by Mr. C. J. Noble (headteacher).
Staff would like to thank those students who helped out on the evening, their efforts helped to make it a huge success, definitely one of the most popular and well presented evening.
Friends of Greenhill supplied refreshments in the social lobby where visitors could chat over a cuppa and catch their breath before the next stroll around the school.

These have now arrived for GCSE, AS and A-Level exams. They are now available to be collected from Miss Rochford. Please 'phone in advance before coming to school so that a suitable time can be arranged for collection.
