Year 8 would like to say goodbye to Chloe Dobbs (pictured) who will be going to Cheetham School on a music scholarship. Congratulations and good luck to Chloe.
EXAMINATIONS
Miss Rotchford would like to thank the students who have just finished taking their examinations for their impeccable behaviour in the examinations rooms. She would also like to remind students that the results can be picked up from the drama studio after 9.30 am on August 14 for A and AS exams and August 21 for GCSE exams. Miss Rotchford will be available on the Thursdays and following Fridays between 9 and 11.30 am for any students who wish to query their results. Certificates will be available in November 2008. Please look for a notice in the paper indicating their arrival. Unclaimed certificates from previous year are available from Miss Rotchford from September onwards
HOUSE WINNERS
Caradog are the winners of the House Shield for 2008 - congratulations. The final totals for the four houses were: Caradog - merits of 167,331 plus 6,120 for sports day, gives a total of 173,457; Dewi - merits of 148,826 plus 4,760, gives a total of 153,586; Llewellyn - merits of 133,798 plus 5,110, gives a total of 138,908; Glyndwr - merits of 131,980 plus 5,020, gives a total of 137,000.
ENTERPRISE
A group of Year 7 and 8 students recently took part in the Farmers Market Enterprise at Haverfordwest. They were presented with their certificates by headteacher, Mr. Chris Noble.
Katie Phillips and Jodie Copestake - 'Profitablity - team work and creativity' (£30 prize); Lewis Brickle and Daniel Bosley - 'Most commercially viable product'; Nathan Wilson - Outstanding tenacity and determination to succeed; Raluca Sava, Arabella Weblin-Grimsley, Grace Foster, Hattie Attwell and Helena Flowers - for great teamwork and professionally finished product.
