Sergeant James from the Welsh Fusiliers (seen here with some of the team members) attended a Year 10 Assembly on Monday, April 21, to present certificates to the team that took part in the Military Challenge. The students were delighted to win the Regional Round in February at the Carmarthen Show Ground and also to come second runners-up in the Grand Final held in March. The students all received a certificate and medal from Sergeant James and a trophy was presented to display at school. Well done to them all and thank you to Emma Guerrio and Whitney Williams, who not only took photographs of both events, but have created an impressive display in school to record their participation in the Military Challenge. Members of the team were Rebecca Bockhart, Catherine Carter, Daniel Edwards, Emma Guerrio, Alex Heesom, Curtis Hurlow, Natalie Johnson, Gregory Lees Griffiths, Aaro Roberts, Jake Roberts, Ellen Thomas and Whitney Williams. (Missing from the photograph are Ellen Thomas and Rebecca Bockhart)
