SIXTH FORM
All parents of Year 12 students are invited to a presentation and discussion evening on Wednesday, September 26, at 6.30 pm in the Sixth Form Common Room, titled 'What is expected of students in Year 12'. The purpose is to outline what is important for students to prepare themselves for university and their chosen career path, along with their expected efforts in the Sixth Form. Also, there are plans to create a Parents Forum for the Sixth Form. If you are interested - please go along to the meeting. Your support is invaluable to your child at this stage in their education and the school appreciates the good relationship that school, pupil and parents have. Parents must ensure that students are completing 90 minutes of work every night or at least 10 hours of work outside school each week. Students will always have work to do, regardless if parents are told that they have nothing to do!
FOG
Apologies, there was an error last week. The Friends of Greenhill meet on every first Wednesday of the month -everyone is welcome.
MP's visit
Greenhill's Sixth Form was visited by Mr Nick Ainger MP on Tuesday. The students discussed with Mr. Ainger key issues within the West Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire area. The head boy, Rob Colley, and head girl, Fran Roberts, both interviewed Mr. Ainger for the school web-based radio station, Greenhill Speaks. The interview will be uploaded soon.
