Football
Well done to the Year 7 football team who won away at Milford in the semi-final of the Pembrokeshire Schools Cup last Thursday. This encounter began as a stroll for Milford, who scored early in the first-half and missed another possible four chances to the hands of impressive goalkeeper Rory Sillence. The Greenhill team, however, grew in confidence and displayed increasing quality as the game progressed. The team began to hold the ball up in midfield, with some mature play from man- of-the-match Toby Rossiter and Joe Worley working the ball towards the front two. It was Jack Murphy who levelled the scores with two minutes to go, which took the game into extra-time and eventually penalties. Again it was Murphy who struck the back of the net, followed by Worley, who hit the perfect penalty, scraping the inside of the post to find the net, sending Greenhill into the final after Milford missed their first two of the three compulsory penalties. Well done all! Squad: J. Murphy, T. Rossiter, C. Lloyd, E. Goldsmith, J. Worley, R. Sillence, C. Weakley, N. Farmiloe, D. Fairlie, R. Nicholas, G. McBeth, J. Harries, J. Lloyd, S. Butler.
