Year 8 Hockey

Sir Thomas Picton 1 Greenhill 1: On January 10, Greenhill travelled to Sir Thomas Picton to play a fair game of hockey. "Our games have got better as each game we put another skill into practice," said captain Sophie Arthur. "This week we had a replacement player from Year 7 and she is an amazing hockey player," Sophie continued. "Her name is Emma Gurreiro. She played so well in the Year 8 team, that she was voted player-of-the-match. "Sir Thomas Picton had a strong start as they scored a goal in the first five minutes. Our game got stronger as the time ticked on. With only 20 seconds to go Zoe Griffiths scored, just like in the last match against Pembroke."
