Greenhill students 'did it in denim' last Friday, raising a very impressive £1,200, nearly £200 more than last year.
The money will be used to help eight national charities, including Great Ormond Street Hospital's Children's Charity and the Haemophilia Society to fund vital genetic research to help alleviate and cure childhood genetic disorders.
The rather difficult genetics crossword competition was won by 7JDM (lower school) and 12NAR (upper school). A Year 9 team comprising Matthew Watkins, Lucian Coates and Huw May won the library genetics quiz.
Many students who had dressed totally in denim received prizes kindly donated by the Tenby branch of Woolworths. All the students should be congratulated on their exceptional display of generosity. Well done Greenhill.
