A recent visit to Heatherton Park for paint-balling was a huge success for nine Year 10 students on the XL Club programme.

Accompanied by Tammy Dibble (school based youth worker) and Mr. Julian Dessent, the group, consisting of Arron Peniket, Aaron Sutton, Andrew Compton, Barrie John, Tim Nixon, David Janssens, Marco Fecci, Luke Hodges and Kye Bradbury, enjoyed three team games.

The students had raised monies over the last six months to fund their visit.

The group would like to thank the marshals at the park for a great day and look forward to returning again later in the year.

AUCTION OF PROMISES

On Friday, May 16, the Auction of Promises at Tenby Sailing Club raised a staggering £3,500 for school funds. The PTA would like to thank all those local organisations and businesses, individuals, parents and teachers who gave so generously and helped make this event a great success.

Graham Evans did a fantastic job and kept the evening flowing smoothly and managing to extract large amounts of money from anybody who dared to twitch or move!

Several items, including a print donated by Charles Birt, and a day's shooting, donated by Alan Jones, fetched over £100.

The money raised will be put to good use improving library facilities.

EXAMINATIONS

Public examinations are in full swing and will continue until the last Friday in June. Those students who are not involved in these very important exams are doing their best to make sure that the school is quiet and that the candidates have the best possible chance. Thank you everyone for your consideration at this time.
