Street cones?
In a bid to ease traffic flow through Narberth's High Street, a suggestion from Clr. Mrs. Angela Walker that the town council write to all businesses on the left-hand side of the road asking them to put cones outside their properties to stop motorists parking illegally, is to be put on the agenda of the next council meeting.
Car went through hedge
A motor car left the road and went through a hedge at The Bridge, Narberth, shortly before 8.30 pm on Saturday.
Firefighters from Narberth attended the scene and were involved in making the vehicle safe and clearing the roadway.
Council - and Observer -thanked
Councillors in Narberth have been thanked for supporting the local fire brigade in their bid to get members of the public to slow down and let vehicles pass when they see firefighters behind them flashing their car lights in an attempt to get to their station on a shout.
And at Tuesday night's town council meeting, there was praise and thanks to the Observer, who highlighted their plight in the press.
Noticeboard damaged
Narberth town councillors are to write to the manufacturers of their new noticeboard at the entrance to the Town Moor asking for a lock, after it was broken into and all the council information stolen.
