Car damaged

Criminal damage caused to a car parked at Tenby's Marsh Road is being investigated by police.

The incident, where the near side wing mirror of a grey Toyota Corolla was damaged by persons unknown, occurred sometime between 8 pm on Sunday and 9 am the following the morning.

The value of damage to the mirror which was left hanging is said to be £173.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC34 Cresswell at the town's police station on 101.

Lawrenny incident

An incident in Lawrenny village centre where forced entry was made to a residential property is being investigated by local police.

Sometime between 5 pm on Sunday, July 19, and 6.50 pm on Thursday, July 30, a quantity of alcohol and soft drinks were taken and consumed on the premises, including an amount of wine.

Any persons with information in relation to this matter are requested to contact PC512 Rowe at Narberth Police Station on 101.

Van stolen

A white Ford Escort van has been stolen in Tenby.

During the early hours of Sunday, the van was taken from Churchill Close, and found a short distance away near Marsh Farm.

Stolen from the van was a Matika circular saw and a Matika power drill, which were both contained in large green tool boxes.

It is believed the thieves made off on foot from the area. Anyone travelling in that area who may have seen anything suspicious or has been offered similar tools for sale is asked to please contact PC737 Gibby at the town's police station on 101.

Dog safely recovered

MRCC Milford Haven received a 999 call from a member of the public requesting assistance to get their dog up some steep steps at Skrinkle Haven, after it had collapsed on the beach shortly after 1.15 pm on Monday, July 27.

Manorbier coastguard team were tasked to assist, but the dog had been safely recovered to a vehicle by the owner and taken to a vet before they arrived on scene.

The dog was a springer spaniel.

Suspected broken ankle

MRCC Milford Haven received a call requesting assistance for an injured male at Manorbier beach at 6.31 pm last Thursday.

Tenby, Manorbier and Caldey coastguard rescue teams attended to the 18-year-old casualty who had a suspected broken ankle sustained whilst skim boarding, before a land ambulance conveyed him to Withybush Hospital for treatment.

The young man was on holiday from Elstree, Hertfordshire.

Treated on scene

Tenby coastguard rescue team attended the town's Castle Beach shortly before 3.30 pm on Saturday to assist the RNLI lifeguards with a 62-year-old female from Cardiff who was suffering breathing difficulties. The female was treated on scene by ambulance paramedics.
