Car park hopes

A Tenby town councillor is hoping that motorists who have been parking at the town's multi-storey because of road works inside the town walls will continue to do so after the work is completed. Clr. John Griffiths said he hoped the 'habit' drivers had started would continue and that the police and traffic wardens would enforce the parking restrictions when the roads come back on line.

Drove off without paying for fuel

At approximately 10 am on Tuesday, a male person driving a white Ford Transit flat-bed pick-up drove off without paying for fuel from Kiln Park Garage, Tenby. The driver is described as white, aged mid-30s, and was between five-foot eight and five-foot nine tall, stocky build and was wearing a black woolly hat and black donkey jacket. Rubbish set on fire

Rubbish was set on fire at The Green, Tenby, sometime between 10.30 pm on Sunday and 2 am the following morning. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact PC278 Helen Hanner at the town's police station on 0845 330 2000.

Two vehicles damaged

A blue Ford Galaxy and a green Vauxhall Vectra were damaged in Pennant Avenue, Saundersfoot, sometime between 9.30 pm on Monday and 12.15 the following day. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC278 Helen Hanner at Tenby police station on 0845 330 2000.

Bay window damage

The upstairs bay window of the Kandy King, Tenby, was damaged sometime between 5 pm last Thursday and 11.50 am the following morning. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC278 Hanner at the town's police station on 0845 330 2000.

Driver sought

Local police are anxious to trace the driver of a car who failed to stop after an incident in Tenby last Friday. At approximately 12.15 pm, a black Mercedes Estate car or a similar car reversed into the front of a green Seat car and drove off without stopping. Damage caused to the Seat car was to the front and caused mainly by the tow bar on the other vehicle. The driver of the vehicle officers want to speak to is described as having long hair. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact PC644 Colley at the town's police station on 0845 330 2000.

Camper van stolen

A Mercedes camper van has been stolen from Summerhill. The vehicle (index no. LAZ 4421) was taken from the rear of Summerhill Community Hall sometime between February 3 and 17. "The vehicle had been in situ for a number of months and persons may have been under the presumption it had been abandoned," said a police spokesman.
